I can understand panic buying to some extent but not of TP I can understand panic buying to some extent but not of TP I suppose some people fear a war time rationing or some such and therefore a lack of food ... but I can't get the panic buying of toilet paper. Surely that's the one thing... -

I don't know of any such case but would be a shame to expose oneself to the risk through not being careful in correspondence and on contract dates.- kyber

As an individual, you have the right to work for whoever you want to and no company has the right to stop you... But a current employer (your company) can prevent you from moonlighting (or leave of absence) at all or specifically stop you working for a party with which it considers there to be a...- kyber

Sell car to Ltd company
Not after two years but as soon as you know you will be working in the same area for two years... So signing a contract extension of 12 months that takes you one day over two years means you know and therefore your expenses become subject to tax (rather than ceasing) immediately.- kyber

Not sure I have the wrong end of the stick, but appreciate the approach is risky with regard to building a relationship with client you turn down but want to work with in the future. That said, I get your meaning. As an aside, I am watching a ServiceNow implementation going wrong at the moment.- kyber

I assume you have explored the usual networking route, of just trying to engage (RL or VL) with anyone roughly in the right area through a mutual interest (maybe a group on LinkedIn), building a relationship, and then asking them for an introduction?- kyber

It has worked considerably in our favour, and that of several friends, each time we have done it. The principle is that there is little incentive for an EA (and the bods working for an EA who only get around 5% of the 1 - 1.5% fee the EA company earns) to make any more effort to sell your home... -
