Sent on what my mate sent me and got this in response: Given they've been continuously recruiting for the last three years i'm not sure how much of this is true but I don't really care. Too much going on just now. It's not a great deal of money. They're arseholes though. Let that be noted.- Jeebsy

Someone handed in their notice then left the following day and the agency said they'd be taking 20 days pay off them....I think the guy was so glad to leave he just got on with it. TBH if it means having to go to small claims i'm not sure its worth it - would have to issue in England presumably...- Jeebsy

If I could have gone in to work I would. Knew if I took a day off during notice it would effectively be two days lost. They do this with everyone and are strict about it. Some people just left without serving an notice and lost a full month's invoice. Seems a bit of a split in opinion, might send one firmly worded email and if they're not receptive just drop it.- Jeebsy

I handed in my notice last month and was reminded I had to work 20 days under the contract. I was off sick Monday and Tuesday then finished today. The agency called to say as I only worked 18 days i've breached the contract and they're going to take two days pay out what they owe me. The...- Jeebsy

Problems moving client
That's the thing, if it's going to cause the old client a lot of bother they'll probably just try and find someone else. If the current client dig their heels in it's probably going to make it not worth their while. I'll try and get a copy of the clause. Both clients operate in the same sphere...- Jeebsy
