I think what I'm hoping is someone reputable comes along and says to me that yes, there's a good chance this can be done or no, there's very little chance this can be done. I'm just concerned that because it was an avoidance scheme this means they would use it as a means to come after me personally. It's not like a regular company tax bill. So that's where I'm a bit confused by it all.- h2oAdvice

£3k + VAT, I just don't have right now. I would have to go further into debt just to try to get rid of debt. It's a vicious circle. The outstanding balance is in the tens of thousands. Yeah I just feel they may try to come after me personally due to the type of debt it is. I don't know if me paying it for the past 6 years would be taken into consideration or if they would still try to rule against the decision. Also, not sure if they would send me a bill for legal costs...- h2oAdvice

Yeah I saw that they may try and make the director liable. I'm just not sure how I would fall into any of those though.
