I am now in the UK. My German accountant said that the F-amt were legally entitled to see my UK statements. Is that not true?- gremlin

The F-amt can ask for your UK bank statements for the years that you worked in Germany. You can ignore this but they have the powers to gain this information via the courts.- gremlin

If you worked in Germany with a German agent the F-amt will go directly to the agent and find out how much they paid Albany. Then they will want to know what happened to the difference.- gremlin

I had a visit from the German Tax Man at my old address in Germany a few weeks ago. I left Germany and deregistered back in early 2008 but that didnt stop them from trying to gain access. I am sitting tight and waiting to hear from them. And yes Mr H was my accountant. I am assuming they...- gremlin
