Ltd Formation – Which Agent For Bona Fide Clean Formation?

Yes, any drawbacks to having nominee shareholders/directors? I understand that they sign an undated share transfer form and give it to you for future use. I think its useful if you are the shy, retiring type and dont want to be on public record as a director.

    Pension Basics

The state pension is paid by the taxes of the current working population which is in the ratio of 4:1 for each pensioner. This is going to be 2:1 in about 30 years - hence the problem for the future.

    Pension Basics

Well, you get upfront tax relief on contributions and tax free growth and maybe employer contributions. 25% can be tax free lump sum and the income from the other 75% is taxed. You can buy an annuity to have a fixed income for life. This depends on age, sex and health. Or you can opt for...

    Pension Basics

Basically, you get tax relief on pension contributions, so you put in £60 if higher rate payer or £75 if basic rate payer to get £100 in your pension plan. This money can be invested in shares, funds, ETFs, commercial property, bonds, gilts, etc and the growth is also tax free. When you draw...

Not sure what your question is. You day rate obviously is hrsxhourly rate e.g. 8 hrs x £50ph = £400. If you wanna compare with a permie salary, its annual permie salary/1000 = hourly contract rate though another thread suggests a figure upto 1700. I'd be interested to know what are the...

    Next step - consultancy?

You have to make sure you get the right people to work for you else your repute will be tarnished and the high esteem you are held in now will suffer. Best option would be to delegate the work and closely monitor its delivery to the end-client. Else not everyone will work like you.

    Talent Resource Management

Three points: - if this was a legit loophole, then how come reputable firms like PwC, KPMG, well-known law firms, banks are not offering it? - one can also set up his own IoM offshore co. and setup the loan for himself. - I doubt people would have much defence; tax has to be paid. More...

    Investing in Ground Rent

Paddy, how can the LEGAL costs be 60K? Normally, when you renew the lease, say from 70yrs to 125 yrs, if the property pricce uplift is gonna be 120K, then you have to pay half i.e. 60K to the freeholder. Are you sure its not this? i think this is where you make money as freeholder as well as...

    Investing in Ground Rent

I have often thought about investing in these but not ever done it. I think try it out with a small outlay and a good yield and see how it goes. There are companies which manage lots of small ground rents for you. I think you make the money on the insurance and lease extensions.

    Eve sagar technologies

Its well known ever since offshore call centres started that the o/s staff adapt English names and pretend to be in the UK. This generally is the company policy of their employer, so they dont have a choice. There was even a BBC documentary about it. Their training incorporates UK TV pgms...
