Property Purchase - Ltd Co With An Individual

Offspring could do with help in buying first home whilst warchest sat there doing very little. Has anyone come across a scenario whereby the a Ltd Co owns half whilst other half "mortgaged" by an individual? May be a crazy idea or non-starter but many on here are much wiser over such matters.

    Company Credit Cards

Thanks. "Cashback" or "Air Miles" possibly? (Would have opted AMEX Gold for the 30,000+ points but cannot pay HMRC via such). Only toying with replacing cards as the bank with "the black horse(s)" are absolutely dire wrt customer service in the credit/charge card section.

    Company Credit Cards

Hi. Anyone have good recommendations for 2022? Naturally, would prefer to be able to qualify for some type of reward scheme whilst ability to use to pay HMRC with no fee(s). (Matters little over Credit or Charge type card).

The hell that is representation emails.....

I was once on the receiving end of being being frozen out, as the recruiter had their preferred candidates that would be presented/shortlisted to the client. 20 years as an interim - you live and learn.

The hell that is representation emails.....

Also an advocate of stating duration period of consent on the authorisation email. If ever you get into a multi-agency bidding war.......... candidate generally gets scorched. There is also a tactic that recruiters use - sign you up, in order to block your application! (Ask me how I know).

What’s everyone driving these days ??

    240 (245GLT), 760 (765GLE), never owned an 850 but many, many V70 before people knew what a V70 (Phase/Generation 1) T5 actually entailed. Then a V70R (but too skittish) so bought a V70 (Phase 2) T5, then into V70 D5s (Phase 2 and then Phase 3). Hated the V70 T6. Never owned a XC90 as the V8...

The Official 15 years Forum Move Celebration thread

Best contractor forum by far. Appreciated by many of us, like me who find it invaluable. Acknowledge that there are some rude with verging on nasty posters. However, the benefit far outweighs the keyboard-warriors. Look forward to another 15 years.

    Laptop Battery

Mods - If in the wrong section please feel free to move, apologies. Does anyone know where to get hold of genuine or recommened replacement battery please. HP will not sell me a battery, as would like the machine return to base for exchange and charge £315! (HP Omen 17-an012na).

    Company Credit Cards

Mine still worked yesterday. So another 10K+ accrued. Missed the changeover/sign up deadline ie ignored it. Suspect that come the 31st that the old card will cease to benefit me.

    Company Credit Cards

Thanks - you also linked to the SPG/Amex a couple of pages back. Do I need to put you down as referral? (Have almost a million SPG points and apply/use of this card will take me over). Suspect that "gonna" link Gizzmo as referral when take out CoT. Will apply in late July for the cards to...

    Company Credit Cards

Useful thread and information share :) Never paid VAT or CT via credit/charge/debit card. Interested in the "CoT" @£249/annum. Could someone kindly indicate the "fee" that HMRC charge for paying both VAT CT using the CoT card please. PS - expecting the answer to be zero but wanted to...

    Working away from home

Very much depends on the person and sector of work plus personal preference. I am more productive and enjoy being on site rather than work from home (okay sometimes I do WFH on Fridays ). Drive/fly/whatever early Monday and return home Thursday evening or leave client site at noon...
