The reviewer didn't indicate whether it was marginal or fail, just that they weren't happy and wanted to negotiate it away. They did say it was down to MoO though.
The client's come back today and said they've changed their mind and are happy to remove the section in bold. They've not said why they wouldn't remove it, or why they've changed their minds.
So I'm good to go - thanks for your thoughts people.
The reviewer's gone back to the client to ask (essentially) why the client has refused to remove the part in bold, above. The client hasn't responded today.
This was my original view - that it's a consultancy-type contract, with a Statement of Work - but the contract reviewer doesn't agree.
The SoW states the notice period is 2 weeks; the contract is for 6 months working on a given project, rather than being a bunch of deliverables. So maybe it...
I've been contracting since 2007, and have recently got a new contract direct via some trusty folks I've worked with before. I've had the contract reviewed for IR35, and the reviewer has asked my new client to remove the part in bold below:

Or am I missing something?
Thanks for the replies so far.
It's not an FSA requirement (at least not yet), but it was triggered by the SocGen debacle and I don't think it's something they're taking lightly. IIRC they've said they'll check door entry to verify compliance. Slightly Big Brother, but that's the neature of the...
I've had an email from my manager saying that the compliance department requires me to take at least 1 holiday of 10 consecutive working days this year.
This doesn't fit in with my holiday plans for this year (having just taken 7 days, and probably my longest holiday of the year). Am I obliged...
