ACS Skills Assessment for Oz Migration Visa?

As per title, anyone done one of these? Fancying the move to Oz as got family out there and visiting then has given me the itch to live in the sun. Reading up on all the visa process at the moment and have spoken to various migration agencies. Ruddy hell, it isn't easy, have got 12 years+...

    Carjacked!

I once accidentally hijacked a car in Manchester City centre. Myself and a chum, much worse off from the drink jumped into the back of a 'taxi' and told the lad to take us to my mates house. Only once we got to our destination it turned out it was just some poor lad in a Mondeo who'd driven us...

CPU fan always at full speed

Your mobo will have multiple fan connectors, stating the obvious but you have got it plugged into the CPU fan connector and not one of the case fan connectors?

    Big monitors

Its not ideal but on these 2560x1440 panels the pixels are so teensy that i'd guess they are pretty much unnoticeable, I got lucky with my DGM in that I cant see any, but looking at the sheer number of the things, I'd be hard pressed to spot one anyway.

HP Microserver - Get 'em while they're still cheap

Most people tended to use Windows Home Server 2011 as far as I can gather, but the WHS range has now been discontinued. Its (indirect) replacement is 2012 Server Essentials so this is what I use and it runs well. I have also used Windows Storage Server on them in the past. If you want to play...

HP Microserver - Get 'em while they're still cheap

Also note, if you are fitting an SSD to the 5th SATA port (marked ODD on the motherboard) then HP have hobbled that port by setting it to run in IDE rather than AHCI mode but there is a BIOS mod knocking about that enables AHCI. Ran some benchmarks a couple of days back on the SSD running pre...

HP Microserver - Get 'em while they're still cheap

Pretty quiet and inconspicuous really. And to confirm, as said, they can take up to 6 drives although I tend to fit 5; 1 X small SSD as the boot drive attached with a velcro sticky pad under the optical bay and then 4 disks in the RAID flavour of your choice in the front bays.

    Dress code for day 1?

Black jeans for me (to at least pretend to make an effort) along with whatever top suits the weather forecast/aircon setup, rarely a shirt though, don't like 'em. Day 1 is always full suit. From then on, I'll wear what I fckin fancy.

    Nice setup.

    Big monitors

It should work looking at the specs, you certainly ain't going to be gaming on it but, as long as you are using the dvi or displayport rather than the VGA connector you should be good.
