I have just verbally accepted a contract and got the contract and other paperwork through from the agency along with a list of all the stuff they need from me before I start the contract or can be paid. This includes contact details of referees covering last 3 years and a character reference...
That's what I can't decide.
I know for my current role, which is for a client I had worked for before, I was supposedly put forward by one agency then didn't hear anything. Didn't particularly surprise me as is a large organisation that changes its mind with the wind. A couple of weeks...
Some good points there, especially the first and last.
I am interested in how you get on with your CV being sent from multiple agencies for the same role. Have you ever had any issues with this?
I never go straight from one contract to another and in the time off inbetween I usually spend some time travelling and also helping out on the family farm. Nothing like a complete change from being stuck in an office. And the animals are far more civilised than my usual colleagues :tongue
Was your final timesheet authorised by the client? If you have an authorised timesheet the agency should pay up as the client shouldn't have authorised it if they weren't happy with your work. Its the clients problem if they chose not to use the work you did.
Sorry, I'm no expert on getting...
I really wish I hadn't just read this thread. I've finally registered with a dentist after years in the wilderness and am thinking about getting my gnashers straighten which is going to involve extractions.....:frown
