Bypassing the agency
So contact the client. If the answer is no then you have lost nothing. If the answer is yes then the worst that will happed is that the agent will be slightly pi55ed off that you went over his head. As mentioned before these people are not your friends. -

I would have no problem with a file of that type being kept if I hade been convicted. We live in a state that says you are innocent until proven guilty. If you keep the biometrics of innocent people, then are you not saying that they are innocent until proven guilty but I bet they have something... -

SC problems
DV I was under the impression that this had a 10 year window. DV Vetting last for ten years so long as you stay with the current project. If you move then it is subject to the same transfer as SC however the DVA can make the decission to check you again depending on the time you have been away.- Commscnut
