What do you look for when choosing an Accountant?

Hi all, as busy professionals I am wondering what is important to you when choosing an Accountant. Do you prefer use a specialist contractor accountancy firm or a general accountancy firm? Is personal service important to you? Or do you make your choice based on cost? Thanks.
