I'm thinking of doing a CBT in this as I only have the practical skills and find that not enough to get me through the pimps. I was signing up for the CBT at http://www.cvision.co.uk/ca/cisco-ccna-training.htm and there is a place for a promo code. Does anyone happen to have one?
I thought that clearance was for one particular workplace. The agents say it lasts 12 months but when I asked the HR dept of my SC perm job they said it was no longer valid and was only for them, it was well below the 12 month limit discussed.
This sounds bad, get that changed. Sounds like they want you to sign it over to them and only them. They can use it, mod it and then sell it around the world, whereas you can only sell it to them.
If your on the flat rate scheme you pay 13% of your total income including VAT so:
£100k + 17.5% VAT (17,500) = £117,500 Total
£117,500 - 13% FRS (15,275) = £102,225k turnover
so 87K in your example.
Good point. I've got no paperwork for the extention and after enquiring today I don't think I'll get any. I was just on the phone to my brother-in-law and he happens to be part of the john-q-law. He confirms that now its an RTC and he reckons that because I'm a director and because of the RTC...
I've asked for a letter from ClientCo so hopefully that will come through. The RTA happened at the start of the month and I've missed just over 2 weeks. I haven't spoke to the client recently so I'm not sure if they are waiting. The project they wanted me for was just about to start so.... I...
What great timing....The week my contract was up for renewal I am involved in an RTA while carrying out services for ClientCo. Doctor put me off so I never got the renewal paperwork but ClientCo had verbally told me the week b4 that they wanted me for another 6 months. The other driver was to...
Yeah NI hadn't changed. Anything above 5435 is subject to employees and employers NI.
I'm taking the hit, I've got a PAYE incentive from last year to spend anyway.
Your probably gonna rape me for thinking like a permie but I'm contracted for 7.5 hours. If I take 1/2 lunch its 9 to 5 right?
The manager at client co said 4:30 but like a fool I worked it out to 5. What do you guys do? I suppose MyCo gets paid for 7.5 hours but I'm onsite for 8hours am I...
Was there, then Cap Gemini now Shropshire Housing. Wasn't thinking about one contract specifically, just looking to the future. There is a fair few security contracts around here which pay well too. Might have to train up /me thinks.
With NTL Virgin they use different cable that runs underground, so BT can't do ****
Can't wait until they loose their monopoly, people will be leaving in droves.
