I think Veritas are going into administration today and they have a buyer who should contact us over the next few days. If this is the case, we may have some bargining power with the new owner of the 'contract book'. I guess it also depeneds if your client wants to do business with them...- bigD

Nope, this isn't far fetched. I know of a few agencies that have gone into administration for the ex-directors to then buy the assets, i.e. contracts, for next to nothing. It's not illegal.- bigD

Just called BDO. Apparently, according to BDO nothing has changed i.e. Veritas has not yet gone into administration. There was no one there who could give an explanation as to why not. I was told to call back tomorrow when Cassie Preston is back to find out more information.- bigD

This is pretty much similar to the information I received from a solicitor. However, each contact may be different so can I suggest contractors/ex-employers call the 'Law Society' and the Citiizen Advice Bureau. Both have been extremely helpful to me.- bigD
