Thanks very much - this is very helpful. I don't suppose you know what the process or next steps have been for individuals who have completed the appeal letter? Do the HMRC then put the individual case on hold until they take the case through the courts.

I was part of the Edge EBT scheme back in 2006-2007 and have only recently started receiving letters from HMRC. The latest one this week is stating I will receive in the next 1-8 weeks the amount I owe which I will be required to pay in 90 days. Is there anyone who can give me any advice on...
