Cloud Security; I'm currently at HMRC as a security architect. Lots of work on, PMs with some security experience are in demand. There are plenty of online course that you could take to give you enough knowledge to be able stand on your own. Remember, you are the PM so are not expected to have...
Note that housing benefit payments are paid to the would-be tenant and not directly to the landlord. Therefore, you are at the mercy of the tenant paying their rent on-time.
I propose two points here
1) The agent is seeking to understand whether you have any serious offers on the table that would stop you from a) attending interview and/or b) taking up the offer if one was on the table, and so avoiding wasting her/his time especially if they can only submit x...
You will no doubt be asked to respond with a right to represent email along the lines of
I, Skag, give Dodgy Agent Ltd, Right to represent for the position of : said position @ £500/day including expenses
I would suggest you respond to such a request with
[I]I, Skag, give Dodgy Agent Ltd...
There is a difference between "the max is 500 what would you like to go over at" and "hello, you successfully passed the interview and the client wants to offer you the role". I would suggest going over at 500/day, have the interview, if you successfully pass the interview and are offered the...
Personally I wouldn't tell them until much nearer the due date. I would imagine that as you start to show then your colleagues will notice that you've ahem 'changed' (your baby bump) and may make an educated guess that you are pregnant.
You say that your contract states a one week notice clause...
The exact wording states "Full details, including dates are required if you have" ..... the details that you found in the public domain. You are given a text area to add the details of each and you can explain whether you do or do not have spent convictions.
My advice, for what it is worth...
Have you checked the prices being offered by your major competitor who offer similar services for this particular client? Is there a chance that you would lose this particular client if you suggest that you are going to raise your fees?
As another poster suggested, approach the client and state...
You have a point and in my defence I was trying to offer help under the auspices of Business/ Contract Opportunities (no italics this time). Unlike you, who seem, on countless number of occassions in your replies, to either take the p*ss out of people's posts/putting them down with your...
What part of my original question didn't you understand - if indeed you read it in the first place or did you just jump straight for the keyboard? Are you hoping to go straight for SC clearance or do you intend to start with BPSS and Disclosure first?
Not sure where you get that from, or whether you know what the eff you're on about
I have not been asked to sign non-disclosure or not to share the forms that I have received for BPSS clearance. A quick search on t'internet and the questions that will be asked are public domain.
If you care to...
Are you hoping to go straight for SC clearance or do you intend to start with BPSS and Disclosure first? I'm currently going through the process and so can let you know what is on the forms that have to be filled.
Good to read healthy debate.
The main thrust of the initial thread was is there mileage in the argument that contractors have been forced to use a vehicle such as a Ltd Co in order to secure work? And if so, how can this be brought to the fore?
The BBC's stance will be that using a PSC is a perfectly legal vehicle.Surely it is up to the individual directly involved with the PSC to determine how its payroll tax affairs i.e. PAYE/NI are dealt with. If the presenters who find themselves being chased by HMRC had paid the necessary taxes...
An interesting topic to watch unfold as "A National Audit Office report revealed that 800 BBC presenters could potentially be asked to pay back tax and suggested the HMRC is investigating about 100 BBC freelance staff." due to their "use of Personal Service Companies enforced on them by the...
