Not so sure about them refusing to insure GSK contractors who have received the non-enquiry letter. The statements referred to in earlier post are as follows and lifted directly from QDOS website:

Yes, it’s pretty much it although I also had issues with near so they added a +1 to that lens to compensate for reading and that worked.
It takes a bit of time and adjustment but worth it in my case as I don’t like wearing specs.
Also helps if they optician knows what they are doing. I had to...
I switched to multi focal contact lenses last year as I found my regular contact lenses were not working and causing near vision to suffer.
It took some trial and error to get right but now all I wear is the multi focals.
The dominant eye is setup for distance vision and the other for near...
Zal- the CAF does not require any fancy reply. I just stated that I was willing to pay the APN and agreeable to settle the matter. They then write to you with what you owe including interest and you pay it. I found the process uncomplicated and not stressful.

Furthermore, of all the advisors I have spoken with thus far, I have yet to find one that...
High Profile Victims
High Profile Victims
Just some more reading. Looks like bigger fish than us fallen victim.
Puts into perspective the options of paying up or paying for costly and lengthy representation. Each to decide their own fate I guess.
JPMorgan 'close to £500m UK tax settlement' -...
For the avoidance of doubt. The PCG insurance with AbbeyTax does not cover this type of tax planning/avoidance. I have already tried that route as a PCG member.
RE: Point 3). TaxTalk advised that there is little benefit in signing up their services at this time and provided a free appeal template instead. This is the same template that has been posted on this forum before.
