The FCA register also shows : "Requirements relating to vulnerable customers 05 NOV 2026 CLOSE Print Page 3. The Firm must use its best endeavours to ensure that the 23 individuals whom it has identified as falling within its “red” vulnerability category are not named as defendants in any...

The FCA text states "Ethica must report every payment anyone has made since 2 July 2026 (the date its servicing agreement with W28 began) to the FCA by 16 Nov, and do a vulnerability review of all 5,754 people by 21 Dec". Nigh on 6000 reviews by Dec 21, good luck with that 👍

I was thinking about this earlier. Attack is the best form of defence. Do we pull the ultimate UNO Reverse card and all get together and put these clowns through the ringer for misselling such a 'product'!

yeah, no mention on how to pay and no mention of what they want to happen next. A one month deadline but no mention of next steps they want to take i.e court proceedings. It feels like a lever to get people to make contact to me.

see, that's not in my letter. they've definitely worked out which loans belonged to certain companies that had different wording. Need to be careful what we say now I guess, they will be able to relate letter content to users on here.

Reading up on Formal Demands, advice generally suggests that it should detail "Potential consequences: State clearly that legal action (such as a County Court Claim) may be taken if payment is not received by the deadline." this letter doesn't actually suggest anything will come of it, it just...

I'm in the same camp. My letter however has a different return address, so something is afoot here.

I totally get that, I wasnt cruising for an irrelevant detail. I was saying, the letter I received was only sent via Account Postage and doesn't appear as a typical Tracked Royal Mail service. I was querying if JD1905s' letter was different and sent by a tracked service. I see the Director of...

was it definitely tracked? mine wasnt. One would assume a serious demand would need Proof on their side that it was actually 'served'?

I don't fully remember the ins and outs of the scheme when we entered it over a decade ago. And for me, most of the details were discussed over the phone, which I now see gave them a great barrier between us. There's little I have on paper that can be held against them What I do seem to remember...

Its a bit of a double edged sword sadly. This thread is exceptionally useful and Im truly grateful we have the input we have. The downside is, W28 and Trethowans get to see nearly all of our cards, and we see none of theirs. They're definitely planning the next move, I hope Dan hasn't given them...

Realistically speaking, what do we expect the next move for W28 to be? Seems we had the pack and nothing else. They 100% had/have a plan, and that pack was the facilitator to it. I don't get what it achieved, or where it placed them in their mind, but it had to have some significance. I've...
