Contributing to NEST and Personal Pension in same tax year

I have a new PAYE role and a new NEST pension via my employment agency. I put a weekly employee contribution into this in order for the employment agency to make their contribution. In any given tax yeah, I’d like to continue contributing to my existing personal pension alongside this. Does...

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

Let’s wait for QDOS to confirm. If the answer is as you suggest then from what I can see, there is literally no point in paying for the cover. Any case that hmrc win will almost certainly include one of the clauses in the endorsement proven not to have been in place.

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

If you’ve actually bothered to read what I’ve written then you’ll clearly see that I’m not demanding a response over the weekend. In fact I’ve explicitly acknowledged it is the weekend! It’s far from straight forwards, if it was there wouldn’t be any discussion on it. The summary question is...

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

Here he is...as predictable as day follows night. No camping required, it’s really not the weather for it. However any business worth its salt will be undertaking due diligence on social media etc to ensure the correct facts are out there for all to see. Probably via the google search facility...

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

Very concerning that QDOS aren’t providing a consistent and clear position here! Let’s hope they clear that up, and the answers to the original questions in this thread very soon...

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

Quite possibly not. So we can assume that QDOS silence to my original questions in this thread would be implying that. It is the weekend though so will see what Monday does or doesn’t bring.

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

I believe the QDOS user account monitors and posts in these forums. Can we have a definitive answer from them on my questions above, for the benefit of all please?

QDOS - TLC35 liability cover endorsement - makes cover worthless.

Does everybody who has this insurance have the below endorsement on it? The way that I’m reading it is that it makes purchasing the liability cover section of the insurance worthless. I’d have thought that 99% of successful ir35 cases that hmrc win will include them finding failures in one or...

Potential merits of a change of agency to the risk of IR35 investigation...

Good points well made WordIsBond. Thanks for input.

Potential merits of a change of agency to the risk of IR35 investigation...

Great. Glad discussion is of some broader value. So we have a baseline list to work off. Would you welcome thoughts on other people’s views on the merits of each item and any other missing points....

Potential merits of a change of agency to the risk of IR35 investigation...

Thanks SouWester. And the attributes of a "role" which will and won't be considered in an investigation triggered by move from PSC to PAYE/Umbrella at same end client , and the changes in those attributes which would make for a "role change", isn't something that I've seen discussed on here in...

Potential merits of a change of agency to the risk of IR35 investigation...

Nothing for “you” to be sorry about. I aren’t in any ways or means looking for “you” to resolve any concerns or queries I may or may not have. If all of the unknowns were crystal clear knowns to everyone then I suspect the forum would be a very quiet place. What I am doing is opening and...

Potential merits of a change of agency to the risk of IR35 investigation...

So there is a very clear and consistent view from everyone on here with regards to what attributes of roles would be compared by HMRC, if they looked at comparing two of them during an investigation? Endlessly. Really? Literally doesn't appear to have been discussed anywhere at all on here...

Potential merits of a change of agency to the risk of IR35 investigation...

Thanks for the kudos. I'd have to disagree on the level of consideration given though. I've considered it very carefully and don't have clarity. Plus searched the forums to see if this has been discussed before using your suggested method; genuine thanks for that. It hasn't been from what I...
