    I'm not an expert by any means but can't you claim "new style JSA" (for 6 months) Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA): Eligibility - GOV.UK Not means tested (savings amount don't come into it) and applies in England, Scotland and Wales.

    Oh yes. All of my SIPP holdings are Vanguard funds, it just happens to be cheaper to hold them outside of the Vanguard SIPP for me.
