Contracting as a LTD for a german agency in UK

Hello,
I tried searching some key words regarding this topic but I hadn`t gotten very far.
My situation is as fallows:
I have a limited company here in the UK
The job is to be done here in UK
The agency is in Germany and has no office in the UK.
The currency they agreed to pay me is in £.

My question is whether this will affect me in any way (legaly speaking). Can I charge for VAT also?
