contracts in London

Hi,

I´ll be living at Lodon on november and I´m a java programmer. I saw that there´re a lot of java jobs that are "contract". I have a question:

What should I do to get a contract job at London? Do I need to open a company? If yes, Is there a site that explain how to open this type of company in England?
