Umbrella Company and Self Employed Tax Return

Always I`ve worked as self-employed but last year I`ve used an umbrella company for few days for a different job, taking in consideration that the amount earned for that period was low (£1100) I just wonder if I need to include this in my tax return.
Each year I did my self-employed tax return on line. Do I need to do a different tax return as employee ?. I`ve received a P60 already.

You need to declare it if you fill in SA100 as I understand.

Wait for an accountant to confirm this though!

Do you not just add the umbrella as an employee in your tax return when you fill in all your employment, using the details from your P60? You will need to declare this as you will have already paid tax etc on it through PAYE, so when you submitted your tax return the figures will not marry up.

If you have to complete the SA for other works undertaken - this will be noted as employment income, so as mentioned - you will just need to use the figures from the P45 or P60 that the umbrella company provided, it is then just noted as the taxes should have been paid correctly for that period of employment.

Yes I`ll fill in a tax return for self-employed work 2016-17 (SA100) . I`ll include the figure from P60 as employment income. Thanks for your advice.
