    Approach from Procorre

I've been approached by Procorre saying they have work - however, they don't seem to want to provide a job spec and want to discuss over the phone. This is unusual as I only ever take projects within big blue chip organisations.

I've read a few posts here about this outfit and there's more alarm bells going off than a clock repair shop.

Has anyone here actually got (paid) work through them?

...or should I just tell them to go and take a flying Donald Duck?

I've often tried to find out more about them. It seems impossible to find anything of substance about them. I notice Brookson mention them on their website for overseas work. A Procorre person used to post here from time to time but never gave any straight answers. DYOR.

my friend was with them for about 12-18 months before I finally convinced her to move away! I had almost joined but did some reading up and didn't like their model, so avoiding it! they didn't sort her job for her, just did her accounts and that deal where you keep 80%+ of your pay. She was always paid, don't believe they ever short-changed her but I suspect the problems will start when HMRC come looking at what tax she has or hasn't paid

not sure how it works for them actually getting you a job, haven't heard that one before

They will sue you! They will ask contractoruk for your details just like a plastic surgeon went after a mumsnet poster. Hope your IP is dynamic....
