The Wife chose a 4 pack of Eufy S3 Pros with a Homebase as a birthday present for me. Still playing around with the settings, but excellent image quality (4K video) and all saved to a physical drive in my house. Wifi range is at least 45 metres, and the built in solar panels are keeping the batteries at 100% - haven't had to use the additional panels that came with the cameras.Originally posted by sadkingbilly View PostDid you decide on anything?? i'm running an android emu to talk to my cams atm, but i'd prefer proper interface.

look good, but still looks like they're designed to talk to a mobile phone, not a PC.
no mention of ONVIF support in their sales pitch.

You can use the web portal to watch/manage/control them, but no, they do not support ONVIF.Originally posted by sadkingbilly View Postlook good, but still looks like they're designed to talk to a mobile phone, not a PC.

'web portal' - does this require local wifi LAN access AND some sort of cloud service, or LAN only?
These vendors never give this sort of info until you've committed to buying. He who Hingeth aboot, Getteth Hee Haw. https://forums.contractoruk.com/core...ies/smokin.gifComment

Good question. I’m not paying for or subscribed to any cloud storage service for this, but the portal address is not on my LAN.Originally posted by sadkingbilly View Post'web portal' - does this require local wifi LAN access AND some sort of cloud service, or LAN only?
