Removal of Sky TV Box - Aerial In to RF1\RF2.

    Hi,

I am trying to replicate the AERIAL in to RF1 and RF2 out functionality of my Sky box so I can remove the Sky box from my system.

I plugged the Aerial which I had plugged into the Sky Box as AERIAL IN into a Y splitter with the RF1 and RF2 cables as output and it didn't work. Any ideas how I can do it?

    TIA.

Are you trying to run multiple TVs off the one aerial?
    1. Have you checked that with the aerial cable plugged directly into 1 TV that it works?
    2. Have you tried a booster splitter, rather than just a Y-splitter?

I would recommend you use a signal booster that has one RF input and two RF outputs. That way you should not suffer signal degradation. I would also recommend you try hooking up a Freesat box to the now redundant Sky satellite feeds. HTH.
