My son is having the same problem for his Maturaarbeit. 9000 word limit. Fortunately, the appendices aren't included in the count, so a [B]lot/B] of the detail goes there. ( It used to be a limit on the number of pages, but then students started using smaller and smaller fonts ).

It's not the material that's hard it's getting it all down within the word count.
