I want to send a tasteful Independence Day ecard to someone, but all I can find is mushy, corny tat. Anyone know a tasteful source of ecards out there?

My comment poked fun at American films, specifically in this case U-571 (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Just because I don't believe American films to be even closely historically accurate, it doesn't follow that I do believe English films, or history.
It's just interesting, on a few levels, that an Englishman would celebrate American Independence day, or an American would need a visa to work in the States...
Maybe an American was working abroad so revoked citizenship to pass less tax then wanted to work in the states?
