    Wouldn't be so bad if there were a harness.


    [As an aside, I learnt something interesting the other day regarding rock climbing: Because the rope is designed to stretch, and in some types of climbing is anchored to the ground and allowed to run freely through anchor points below a climber, the force on a falling climber isn't dependent solely on the fall height (i.e. double the height above the last anchor point). Falling a few metres could be worse than falling 100 metres, especially if falling near the ground where the length of line is short].
