He is true to his word and is being tough on the causes of crime, innocent people - if it wasn't for innocent victims there wouldn't be any crime so he's stamping out the root cause of crime.

Surely everybody that voted for the war criminal and his cast of villans must have realised that for them to crackdown on crime is like asking turkeys to vote for xmas.

Birds of a feather flock together, they're just looking after their own.

A man is murdered in a Happy Clapping attack - the perpetrators get 2 years

That didn't seem to get much attention, and why was that? The victim was mentally disabled. Had it been a young woman there would of been a massive media coverage.

Sentences for rapists to be reduced

A man goes to the aid of a woman being assaulted. The Police arrest him, let the the original attacker go.

So is this what Tony meant by Tough on Crime, tough on the causes of crime. Does he really want to live in a society where one does not go to the aid of someone in trouble for fear of being arrested. Where those who perpetrate and commit crimes are not sufficiently punished?
Surely your bodyguards can protect you?

A man steals a car and goes on to kill a child on the road. He gets (if memory serves) 12 weeks. (or to put it another way, not as long as Tony wanted to keep people in Gaol without charge under his terrorism legislation 90 days without charge, killing a child 84 days)
