Perhaps in these days of economic strife, parents could be sponsored by large companies to name their offspring after brands or products - like they used to do with horses in horse racing. So you could have baby 'Persil Washerswhiter Smith' or Domestos Jones etc...

The names of flowers are quite popular for girls, I notice.
Although, I do feel that "Triffid", or "Triff" for short is definitely a boy's name.

Just come back from Amsterdam met two mates both male: one from Sweden called Connie one from Holland called Floris.
They consider thier names normal - i had to try hard not to laugh
