    It shows how silly the US housing market was. Original price was USD 65,000 in 2006 which would probably meant a mortgage of about USD 700 a month. They couldn’t fund that and it got repo’ed within 2 years!

    lenders now appear to have become a bit more relaxed about lending than they were earlier in the year, with the cost of loans where customers put down a 5% deposit also becoming cheaper.
