I'm building a network of music related websites based around the 'make music on your computer regardless of knowledge, experience, talent etc'.
I will branch out and write (pay someone to research and write) some related ebooks and little bits of software.
The different sites cover different niches within the bigger topic ie - learn guitar, buy guitars, learn keyboards, buy keyboards, learn sequencing, buy expensive music software, how to build a home music studio, buy expensive home studio equipment and so on and so forth.
The primary focus is building large targeted lists of subscribers at the moment while coming up with ebook/software ideas to outsource to India/China/Russia for $8/h
All paid for through the Ltd
Please feel free to copy/compete with me

WHS I (stupidly) asked this question a while back - thinking about it, if anyone had a red hot plan B, they wouldn't mention it on here.Originally posted by Board Game Geek View PostI don't think many folks are going to be forthcoming about their plan B's.
They have found a niche, and they are exploiting it and making hay whilst the sun shines.
They'd be cutting their nose off to spite their face by publicly (or even privately) announcing it, just so someone can go "Ooooh...that's a good idea" and then nick it...
I....
I am reading a book called the Naked Trader by a bloke who claims it is possible to make a living from share trading without working too hard. My other plan B is the Lottery. HTH

My Plan B involves a software product that sells at a slow steady rate. I work at it to try and improve it and hope that pays off in the long run, but it won't stop if I take a week off.
I agree with whoever said that above - you need something that you don't need to work at to make money. The fundamental problem with contracting (or driving instructing) is that the money stops when you do.

Was there not a break-even point some time in the future whereby the extra 3k a month would have allowed you to play warcraft 24/7 until the end of your days?Originally posted by Board Game Geek View PostI did have a plan B, but have abandoned it, since it became obvious to me that I can either have 6-7 hours a night playing Warcraft, or 6-7 hours working in the evenings, all for an extra 3K a month.

I decided that the extra money wasn't worth the sacrifice of my time.

pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
whoever owns the Wilmslooooooooooooooooooooooooow brand, please put a warning on threads like this one,
I nearly spilled my alpen when I read this:
Lots of people here seem to have Plan B ideas.
What is yours, and what have you done to make it happen?
I have always fancied being a driving instructor
The creativity of the Wilmsloooooooooooow character is amazing, this thread is a classic that should go into the CUK hall of fame
