    £30 is nothing these days.

I will be on site on Friday when I try to buy them. Hopefully I will be able to contain myself if I'm successful.

    How much are the tickets?
They did a presale via the band's mailing list this morning (yes, I am a terrible fanboy), but there will be more tickets on Friday. They cost, deep breath, 30 quid each plus "booking fee". But I don't get out to see many shows these days, and this one looks good.

Didn't see your thread. But yeah, it did sink a bit didn't it. Just did a search for it. :-(

I'll have to make do with the Foo Fighters next year.

Is it hell... the old skool bands blow the nippers of the stage.

Modern bands don't have a clue how to get a crowd fired up.

** disclaimer for the sweeping generalisation above - there are one or two current bands I'd consider seeing... not many though **

Got to be honest I saw Page and Plant in 1997 and it really wasn't that good, I think they are a bit past it now, saw The Who a few months ago and they were the same, lets face it rock and rolls a young mans game... get back to your garden Jimmy and try not to fall over this time.

I'm surprised how cheap the tickets are on eBay though.
