If you want a reply without judgment I would suggest reposting this in Accounting/Contracts.

We have a problem with moving posts so I’ll lock it and you can repost over there.

  • Has anyone been through a creditors voluntary liquidation?

    Please without judgement!!!

so first and foremost I made the mistake of always playing catch-up on my taxes… always with the thought I’m only a couple of months away from balancing the books… we’ve all been there.

Then IR35 and Covid hit… those additional months did not come.

I’m about £6000 short on my corp tax, But I have an overdraft and a business credit card to the tune of £24k

id usually just plug away at finding another contract but I am just coming out of a full nervous breakdown.

if I can pay most of the HMRC debt, am I better going for a CVL ?

    anyone had experience ??
