Agreed, fully. Quite a sad end to a honourable career.Originally posted by Zigenare View PostTo be fair, the man is honorable - whatever your political persuasion. He's a man of principle and stands by it. No external interests, his job as he sees it is to be an MP.

I laughed my arse off when I saw the Swinson result. It was so ironic.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostI'm not that fussed to be honest, since I don't have the vote I've no particular emotional investment. I'm slightly happier that Boris won that if Corbyn had, although Corbyn would also have provided interest. The kind you want to observe from a safe distance...
Swinson losing her seat was pretty funny. Looks likeMay'sBoris's WA will be implemented. Gove's speech was a bit
Boris was on form though.
The pound jumped 3 rappen against the Swiss Franc at 10pm last night, as the exit polls were revealed. So I won't be able to buy quite as much beer.
I'm sure I can buy you a beer if you're a bit strapped. We Lancastrians are quite hospitable, it's the Yorkies and the Scousers you need to watch.
