With regards to foreign investment, wait until the stock market goes pop and everything (including property) goes "risk off". Cash buyers will disappear and banks won't loan any money.
Only those in the UK will be withdrawing. Foreigners will still pump there money into UK property as it looks cheaper in their local currency.
