They're the one thing which is failing to grow properly for me... radishes, carrots, spinach, onions and peas are all growing strongly but last year's chilli plant is just sitting there refusing to grow or die.

Several green shoots waiting to break the surface are now visible on only 5 days. I would say heated propagators are a good idea for quick germination of chilli seeds.
First one's up are the "Ring of fire". Very keen they are

Mine went in today Soupy.
Including but not limited to :
Ring of fire
White and chocolate habanero
Birds eye
Monkey face
Scotch bonnet
Purple Cayenne
Dorset Naga
Most of those are in a heated incubator in my office, and I put the rad on in there.
I have an overflow propagator in the airing cupboard.

I was planning to plant a load of peppers, but I think I overdosed on ultra-hot pepper sauce last week, seriously.
Had an agonising pain in a hip joint, which took a day or so to fade, and then two or three blisters appeared on the back of my hand, which have since burst and are healing but look like a couple of bites from a black widow spider.
I'm sure it must be the pepper sauce, as I never normally have aches, or weird blisters come to that, and having stayed off the sauce (literally!) for a couple of days all trace of the hip pain has completely gone!Last edited by OwlHoot; 31 March 2015, 14:22.
