Fully agree, being a former Dutch citizen where weed is freely available since the 1980's, I could see the daily effects weed has on the population. Marijuana being smoked on playgrounds and schoolyards. There are lots of schizophrenics as a result of weed usage and loads of the regular marijuana smokers continue to use stronger stuff such as heroine.

The world needs more heroines. They're great role models to young women.

The same can be said for booze, it all depends on the user, I know people earning 100k plus in senior roles who have smoked daily for 20 years with no issue, I also know other people who it has created issues for.

In the UK weed has doubled in price in the last 6-7 years same grade of weed just twice the price with all the extra £ going in the crime gangs pockets.

I would legalise and regulate closely not ideal but keeping it illegal does not seem to do much except make gangs richer.

I know people like that too.. But they are in the minority. These are the 40 year olds who don't get hangovers, seem to always look healthy despite eating sh1t. They just have "good constitutions". Most people are not like that.

Most people I know who have smoked weed regularly in the past, have stopped and have a bad opinion of it.

I think it's because of the weed they were smoking. The Aussie bush stuff is probably fine. The UK stuff is not.

well that is just the stupidity of the medical system Opiates have been legalised for medical use for a very long time. They need to do the same for marijuana controlling the strength.

I know an 18 year old kid who's showing all the behaviours of serious addiction - with weed. It's not harmless for everyone - just like alcohol.

But I'd still decriminalise it and make it government controlled. As the Swiss have done with hard drugs.

Young people get addicted to the nicotine in their joints. It's the nicotine hit they are chasing, without realising it.
