Agencies cannot apply for work permits, what they are doing is illegal, please read the immigration rules.

Really depends on what type of Visa you have, when it is due to lapse, how it currently sponsored etc.

Changing Recruitment Agencies
Hi All,
I want to change my recruitment agency because my current agent cannot sponsor my visa. But there is another agent which works with same client but for technical staff and they can sponsor for work visas as well.
Will the client or my current agent like to facilitate this change for me ? If I have not got this change both parties (client and agency) will lose me and my whole career life will become to an end.
Really appreciate your comments to initiate this and build my career life.
