£134.60 a day
(Mind you I only like it because I hoping to be recruiting soon not contract hunting).

MF is your manOriginally posted by eek View PostThe irony is that there is no one capable of doing Oracle BI at any price let alone £200 a day. Clientco needed someone offered £450 (after agent fees) and everyone we got was tulip once we asked them to do a simple data migration as a practical test.
I've worked with some pretty hot Oracle BI guys in the past - but they're expensive.

Join the real world. £200 is bottom end of 'proper' rates, especially in the North away from cities. Tesco would pay you about £50/day so it's hardly a good comparison now, is it?Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostOracle, Data Warehousing, ETL, Consultancy. This just caught my eye on Jobserve, 120-180 a day in Norway, that's like 25 quid a day in UK!!
Linux Support, Contract , £120 - £180 per day + extensions
Norway
Linux and Windows help desk support contractor required for my client based in Norway. This is a help desk support role that will involve Linux, windows, desktop and general IT support. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a exciting client that is heavily expanding globally.
It is essential that you good support Linux and UNIX knowledge as well as windows desktop and AD exposure.
Also knowledge around client TCP/IP/DHCP and DNS, Virtualisation and LDAP is useful
There is a scope for extensions after the initial 3 month stint and also the prospect of working from other global locations if proven on site here.
Apply with CV for immediate consideration.
