    Things are going pretty well for me in IB. I'm not in IT though.

    I'm an BA working in accounting change and this area is doing pretty well right now. But when is accounting not booming to be fair! Everyone needs a bean counter.

    Java. Low latency. Front office. Grid computing. White hot.

    C++? Years since I've used it, but there still does seem to a bit of demand for it. We've got two guys in the office doing it. The remainder are Java and/or C#.

    How's everyone finding it? Any sub-sectors still "white hot"?

    Was wondering about applying in the C++ server side of things. On the face of it doesn't look too bad, but I wonder whether there are big queues of people for each role.
