Irish recruitment companies, if based away from Dublin, do tend to have a lower cost base than English based ones - therefore can drop margins through the floor.
Another explanation, is that if the recruiter has an English and Irish presence, and your consultant is a dubliner, with a two letter first name, he's actually based in England, he just represents the irish side of the business (ie his business goes into the Ireland pot, but he works in England).

Probably cos there's no jobs to pimp for in Ireland and they've started getting on the action over here.
Especially since Gordon has declared that it's all hunky dory over here.
I'm sure their Icelandic compatriots will be sniffing around soon.......
