WHS. I just stooped to a second interview after a bit of softening up on the bench.

    I hate ALL generalisations.

If I think the gigs got promise I will decide at the time........

If I'm sufficiently interested in the project I'm not that bothered if there's more than one interview. Obviously I'd prefer one or fewer, but if it's a good enough role (including financially) I'm prepared to go to the trouble.

Even for second interviews, when I've had to travel into London (generally at my own expense) and spend half a day plus a day or so preparation I've had a couple where they didn't bother to follow up. Just today I've had (negative) feedback for a 2nd interview I had over two weeks ago. People just don't seem to be bothered at the moment

Agree, pimps dont bother calling back if you haven't got it. Even if you are on the shortlist.

IMHO Still keep looking agressively. I always do until I've got the signed contract in my hand.

2 back-back interviews (one technical) with a clientco last Monday. Went very well and - according to the pimp - positive initial feedback. Waiting for second interviews with senior / business managers but this seems to be taking an age to sort. Have been repeatedly bugging the pimp and now that a week has passed, and I have not been told "no", I feel I am starting to be strung along a little. I don't want to risk trying the "I've got something else" line as this gig looks really quite interesting, and good money to boot.
Good things come to those who wait!
