Previously on "Possible salary and other questions."
Hi
I have a few questions I hope someone can answer.
What sort of money is possible when you are a contractor (upto 100k?) yes even for muppets like myself
Are all contractor positions that pay highest in London? aye most likely
Are all contractor positions related to software dev, or are there other areas that allow this type of work? Plenty money to be made as a project manager or programme manager in say infrastructure improvement for example
Rates depend on your skills. And with the right skills you can certainly bring in 100k. But rate != salary. People need contractors in lots of areas, not just software dev. London is where the highest concentration of contracts are found in the UK. If the clients are willing to pay it and you're worth it then the best paid contracts could be anywhere.
