Where abouts are you going: Stockholm or a small town in the south? (These two places seems to be where almost all of the contracting jobs in Sweden are based).

If it's the latter I can give you more helpful hints.

IME ITS are the best Management Co for working in Sweden, and yes they do use a local accountant (and are registered with the local Tax office as an ´employer`, without which you cannot do very much in the country.

Be careful of using accountants not resident in the country. At least check whether they have a Swedish office.

Check with your contractor colleagues - have they heard of this outfit?

Most agencies of this type are known for working in a particular country. Do a bit of digging and research - where is their head office?

If no-one has heard of them, be wary. Ask for 3 references and check up on them.

I would only use a company with experience of the employment and tax regulations of the country in which I'm working.

Which country are you working in?
