Now tell me, is this due to Brexit, or because we are in the EU?

1. Lowest unemployment in years. I though the Brexit claim was that they were all coming over here and taking our jobs?
2. The first article is clear that confidence is due to the transition agreement - in other words, that everything stays the same. Business confidence is due to Brexit-in-name-only, not Brexit.

Correct. I know a lot of bands in the UK who tour Europe quite often and some remember the old days too. They reckon it's going to be an absolute nightmare for paperwork, only the big name bands will be able to really afford it so another great British export gets buggered upOriginally posted by meridian View PostThis is a bit of a sad one. Even if the U.K. players remain eligible (doubtful but possible) they will be subject to visa restrictions in each member state when touring the EU and will need to complete customs declaration forms for their instruments every time they travel.
As will every U.K. musician now. Gone are the days of bands easily packing up a van and touring Europe, they’ll now need working visas for each member state in advance and declarations for their equipment.
Presumably though this was already in the excruciatingly detailed impact assessments on Culture that the Brexit department provided to parliament before they triggered A50....
And it’s what the 17.2m voted for, of course. Will of the people.
