Obviously the future is the economic sunny uplands, where British tea, jam and biscuits will be at the heart of Britain's Brexit trade plans.

Well that will be up to the UK population, through their individual actions and the actions of their elected representatives, as to how future opportunities are exploited. Nothing is guaranteed. Either positive or negative.
As I said in an earlier post, I voted Remain, but I am optimistic about the future.
One of the greatest benefits will be that the HMG will no longer be able to hide behind the excuse of "The EU won't let us do it" after March 2019.
