What who said? The OP? Wrong quote attached to WHS I think.Originally posted by prozak View PostHaiving just submitted my first FRS VAT return last night I'lll just add to the WHS crowd.
ps. Dunno why i waited so long to go FRS. I spent a fair bit last quarter thinking the FRS would come in this quarter and still was £700 better off.

Box 6 says: your total sales excluding VAT.
They submitted 25200 which 21000 + 4200 VAT
Boxes 3 and 5: VAT 3402 which is 13.5% and fine
Will I be fined? What should I do? Call to HMRC immediately?

Good question and I agree with Joeman.Originally posted by Joeman View PostAlthough the official VAT Form text indicates sales excluding VAT, these Flat Rate Scheme Box 6 Figures are actually shown inclusive of VAT, in accordance with HMRC guidance.

Why don't you ask your accountant what he has done. There could be a perfectly reasonable explaination. If there isn't he can correct it and advise on the outcome. Why pay for one and not use it?Originally posted by dimazigel View PostMy accountant submitted VAT return and looks like figures are wrongBox 6 ss: your total sales excluding VAT.
