Just wondered if those more experienced contractors could share their thoughts on whether they had been investigated or not.

Those who have gone through an investigation : What is the one thing you learnt from the investigation that you would share?

Be honest, if you made genuine mistakes 'fess up. Try and be reasonably pragmatic - depends on the sums involved of course. Don;t just roll over though, defend your corner - bearing in mind the costs.

And set fire to the inspectors cat.
