My flat rate was 12.5%, now its 11%, it looks like its going to be 12.5% again to me? I wonder what it'll be when VAT goes up to 20% as it surely will after the 2010 election?

For those on flat rate VAT scheme

The standard rate of VAT is reverting to 17.5% from 1 January 2010 as planned, but it has been confirmed not all flat rate VAT percentages will revert to what they were before the rate dropped to 15%.

HMRC are yet to announce the post 1 Jan 2010 flat rate percentages, so we're currently unaware which categories will change. I'll post more info when it's available.
